FX‘s popular The Bear series starring Jeremy Allen White has an official season two release date for the summer.
Fans will be excited to know that the critically acclaimed kitchen drama series is making a return to streamers for a second round in June. The second season is set to feature 10 episodes and will be streamed exclusively on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ in the U.K. The hit dark comedy quickly became one of FX’s most-talked-about shoes of the summer, following chef Carmen Berzatto, played by White, from fine dining restaurant kitchens to his family’s sandwich shop after the death of his brother.
Earlier this year, the show’s creator Christ Storer told Variety, “We wanted to make something that was about friendship and a partnership.” He added, “It really is so funny that that is one of the things that people took away — of all the heavy shit that’s going on in the show! It was interesting because Ayo [Edebiri, who plays Sydney] and Jeremy since they are our friends and are such wonderful people, I think there is this charisma that comes off both of them.”
The Bear season two arrives on Hulu on June 22.
