Ebere Eze made his debut for Crystal Palace during a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Charlton in preseason friendly.
The former Queens Park Rangers (QPR) player who made a big-money move to Selhurst this summer played for 45 minutes in the encounter and was brilliant throughout his stay at the club.
Eze presence in midfield showed why the club doled out 20 million pounds for his services. The player who is eligible to play for England and Nigeria fired a shot wide from 20 yards after making space for himself.
He set up Andros Townsend who tried an overhead-kick at goal but it was blocked before Jordan Ayew hit the post as the first half ended goalless. Eze made way for Jeffrey Schlupp at the start of the second half.
However, Ghanaian Jordan Ayew opened scoring from a pass by former Manchester United winger, Wilfred Zaha. Ayew made it 2-0 with a simple tape in before Zaha wrapped it up at 3-0 with a beautiful solo move.
