Memphis in May’s 2023 Beale Street Music Festival returns to Tom Lee Park in Downtown Memphis.
Memphis in May’s 2023 Beale Street Music Festival is set for May 5-7, making its return — after four years — to its historic home at Tom Lee Park along the riverfront in Downtown Memphis.
The three main stages — the Zyn Stage, the Bud Light Stage and the Volkswagen Stage — will be presented in Tom Lee Park as they have been in the past.
Meanwhile, the Memphis Tourism Blues Stage on Beale relocates the festival’s popular Blues Tent theme to Handy Park, 200 Beale St. It will be open to the public and offered free of charge. No ticket will be required for entry to Handy Park.
From parking to what you can bring, here’s a look at everything you need to know ahead of this year’s music fest.
Are tickets still available to Beale Street Music Festival?
General admission three-day passes cost $205 and are available until May 4.
Single-day tickets are $85 in advance and $95 at the gate.
Patrons can enter the festival with a printed ticket or a digital ticket. A photo ID is required for all tickets at will call.
Ticket holders will have access to a reserved section with seating at the Memphis Tourism Blues Stage on Beale.

When do gates open for Beale Street Music Festival?
Gates open at 5 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
There will be entrances on Riverside Drive, both the north end (which is where the main will call ticket window will be located) and the south end, as well as entrances off Vance Park, Huling Avenue and Butler Avenue.
Can you exit and re-enter Tom Lee Park during the festival?
Festival guests with general admission single-day tickets are not allowed to exit and re-enter the festival. Only three-day and VIP pass holders may exit and re-enter the park.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Beale Street Music Festival will be presented rain or shine. Performances may be postponed or canceled if weather conditions are deemed unsafe.
Performers and performance times are also subject to change without notice.
Where is parking for Beale Street Music Festival?
Premium Parking is Memphis in May’s official partner, and it has lots throughout Downtown Memphis. For information on locations, go to PremiumParking.com.

What can you bring to Beale Street Music Festival?
- Small purses, 9 inches by 9 inches maximum
- Small bags, backpacks and fanny packs, 18 inches by 18 inches by 18 inches maximum. All bags must be clear.
- One factory-sealed water bottle of 20 ounces or less
- Camelback hydration packs, 1.75 liters or less. These do not have to be clear.
- Sunglasses and hats
- Earplugs
- Sunscreen lotion — non-aerosol containers only (sunscreen stations will be available around the park as well)
- Blankets
- Hula hoops
- Cellphones
- Non-professional flash/still cameras
