Leica Introduces New M11 Monochrom

Leica Introduces New M11 Monochrom

Celebrated camera brand, Leica, has introduced its new M11 Monochrom camera – marking the fourth generation camera with a black and white sensor.

Since first debuting the camera model in 2012, the German brand has been refining its technique on black and white photography. As such, the new model enhances the previous model’s capabilities of balancing light and shadow. Appearing in an all-metal body with an aluminum top plate and sapphire glass display, the camera is just as striking as it is functional. The camera’s design also includes a black scratch-resistant paint finish and a solid leather covering.

On a technical side, the camera can create raw files in a DNG or JPEG format with 60, 36 or 18-megapixel resolutions. Enhancing that is its 125 to 200,000 ISO range. Another focal specification is its 256 GB internal memory. Finishing off the camera dark chrome-plated coating of the viewfinder and minimal Leica branding.

Priced at $9,195 USD, the Leica M11 Monochrom is available now at Leica Stores, online and with select authorized dealers.
