King Krule has announced an upcoming album titled Space Heavy and to celebrate the news, the indie songwriter has just dropped the lead single from the release, “Seaforth.”
The upcoming album from King Krule — real name Archy Marshall — is his fourth full-length project and it is set to explore “the space between” two locations he considers to be home.
As per NME, this said theme of the album was inspired during the album writing process. During this time, Marshall consistently commuted between London and Liverpool and King Krule has admitted that he was “fascinated by the notion of the space between.”
Space Heavy comes almost a decade after Krule’s debut album, 6 Feet Beneath The Moon, and the new 15-track project will see the musician explore negative thoughts and emotions, but in a positive way.
The lead single, “Seaforth,” is produced by Dilip Harris and made alongside long-time bandmates, while the record’s accompanying visuals follow the journey of two golden retrievers across a beachside landscape.
You can check out the “Seaforth” visuals above and the Space Heavy album will be available to listen to from June 6.
