Zlatan Ibrahimović has signed a new one-year deal to stay with Milan for the 2020/21 season.
The 38-year-old has renewed his contract to remain at the San Siro and is reported to be earning around €7m for the year.
“I am back where I feel at home so now it is time to work hard and push on,” he told Milan TV after putting pen to paper.
“I’m not here to be a mascot. I’m here to get results and get Milan back to where it belongs.
“Now I’m here from the start of the season so we need to continue our good work.”
Ibrahimović returned to the club in January and scored 11 goals in his 20 appearances during the second half of the season.
