Top Dawg Tiffith Addresses Possibility of Black Hippy Reunion

Top Dawg Entertainment founder Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith has opened up about the possibility of a Black Hippy reunion — the TDE supergroup comprised of Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q.

The CEO took to Twitter to respond to a fan who initially asked about the reunion, answering that it could potentially album. “[T]hey owe y’all an album or Ep,” he added. Fans were quick to reply to the tweet, with many either begging Top Dawg to make it happen or asking him to stop giving them false hope.

Although Black Hippy never officially released a full album, they released one lead single together (a remix of ScHoolboy Q’s “That Part”) and hopped on several tracks, including the remix of Lamar’s “Swimming Pools” and “The Recipe,” as well as Jay Rock’s “Vice City.” It remains to be seen whether the four artists will ever return to the studio together, especially considering the fact that K-Dot is no longer part of TDE.

Elsewhere in music, Tyler, the Creator has announced a deluxe edition of CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST.
