Childish Gambino has previewed new music in the trailer for his forthcoming Amazon Prime original series, Swarm. The show was co-created by Gambino, whose real name is Donald Glover, and Janine Nabers.
Dominique Fishback stars as a Houston woman scarily obsessed with a pop star. A member of the singer’s avid fanbase, which goes by the name of “The Swarm,” the fandom ends up taking her down a dark path. Chloe Bailey plays Dre’s sister, while Damson Idris portrays Dre’s boyfriend.
Gambino’s song is called “Sticky” and arrives as a collaboration between himself and singers Ni’Jah and Kirby.
“Sticky-icky / Somebody’s watching, so watch your back / Don’t look back, look at the mess you’ve made,” Gambino sings on the track.
While he’s appeared on a number of collaborations in recent years, the last solo music fans received from Gambino was 2020’s 3.15.20. “Sticky” isn’t officially out just yet, but fans can expect to see it across streaming services on the same day as the premiere of Swarm, March 17.
