StanChart profit hits record Sh12.1 billion

Standard Chartered Bank Kenya has recorded a 34 percent jump in full year net profit for 2022 to Sh12.1 billion.
The lender’s earnings grew 16 percent to Sh34 billion, on higher non-funded and interest income.
The Nairobi Securities Exchange-listed lender has proposed to pay a final dividend of Sh16 per share, bringing total payout to Sh22 per share, up from Sh19 for 2021. It paid an interim of Sh6 per share earlier in the year.
