Liberty Walk Unveils Widebody Ferrari F40

At the 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon, Japanese tuning company Liberty Walk officially unveiled one of its most controversial projects yet, drawing back the curtains on a Ferrari F40 which was given the car shop’s distinct widebody makeover. The F40 was the first production automobile to reach speeds exceeding 200 mph and is widely considered one of the most iconic supercars of all time with only 1,311 ever made.

With Ferrari’s reputation of penalizing owners for outrageous aftermarket modifications in mind, the LB-Works Ferrari F40 is a bold break from tradition that has garnered split reviews from the community. Originally rendered in red, the real-life version opts for a white finish featuring Japan flag and sponsorship decals. The conversion sees a new front cowl, cowl duct, diffusers, light covers, rear wing, lip spoiler, enlarged exhaust tips, and widened fenders which have been riveted onto the original body. the vented front hood echos that of the F40 LM series and large aftermarket wheels are wrapped in Toyo tires. Inside are new carbon fiber racing seats and a custom steering wheel from Sparco.

Take a closer look at the LB-Works Ferrari F40 body kit below. More information and contacts for inquiries can be found on the Liberty Walk website.
