Foo Fighters, The Lumineers and Paramore To Headline Boston Calling 2023

Boston Calling has announced its 2023 lineup, with a slate of top-shelf headliners on board to perform. Among them, Foo Fighters and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs will lead Friday; The Lumineers and Alanis Morissette will take Saturday; and Paramore and Queens of the Stone Age will conclude on Sunday. The festival is scheduled to take place during Memorial Day Weekend, from May 26 to 28, at the Harvard Athletic Complex.

Alongside its headliners, Boston Calling boasts a lineup of more than 50 acts, including 20 artists with local affiliations. Also on the bill, the National, Flaming Lips, the Walkmen, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Bleachers, 070 Shake, the Linda Lindas, Maren Morris, Niall Horan, Chelsea Cutler, Teddy Swims, Noah Kahan, Mt. Joy, Fletcher, Genesis Owusu, Declan McKenna and the Aces are slated to perform throughout the three-day event.

Boston Calling marks Foo Fighters’ first major performance announcement after the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins last March in Bogota, Colombia. The Dave Grohl-led band teased their comeback on New Year’s Eve, revealing that they would “soon” return in an end-of-year note.

“Without Taylor, we never would have become the band that we were – and without Taylor, we know that we’re going to be a different band going forward,” the Foos wrote in their statement on Twitter, later adding, “We know that when we see you again – and we will soon – he’ll be there in spirit with all of us every night.”

Tickets will go on sale this Thursday, January 12, at 10 a.m. ET. Take a look at the full lineup above.

In more music news, Post Malone, Lil Nas X, Lizzo and more will headline Bottlerock Napa Valley 2023.
