So it’s perhaps no surprise, then, that for winter 2022, knitted co-ords, in variations of trousers and skirts and cardigans and jumpers, have been spotted all over Instagram. Last year, it was a khaki roll-neck and midi from ASOS that everyone from Erica Davies to Jessica Skye wore, but this year, there are so many iterations around.
There’s something to be said for wearing knitted co-ords with your chunkiest of boots—the juxtaposition of hardwearing leather and the ultra-soft wool will never fail. However, they also make for the ideal low-key going out outfit—just add patent boots or some glittery mules.
