Watch Roddy Ricch Freestyle Over Jay-Z’s “I Just Wanna Love U”

Watch Roddy Ricch Freestyle Over Jay-Z’s “I Just Wanna Love U”

Following the debut of his latest album Feed Tha Streets III, Roddy Ricch headed to Funkmaster Flex’s Hot 97 radio segment to deliver his take on a quick freestyle.

The Compton rapper delivered the new installment in his Feed Tha Streets LP series earlier this month, with features from Lil Durk and Ty Dolla $ign. Just a few days ago, he followed up on the release with a music video for his Durk collaboration, “Twin.”

On Hot 97, Ricch rapped over the instrumental of Jay-Z’s iconic 2000 single, “I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me),” which was produced by The Neptunes.

Ricch uses the laid-back beat to drop bars about a recurring theme in his discography: flexing how far he’s come and how much money he’s made. He also details his previously-iterated plans to continue putting out new music throughout 2023.

“Imma keep on droppin,’ I’m a trending topic,” he chants.
