Quavo and Takeoff’s debut collaborative album, Only Built for Infinity Links, has debuted No. 7 on the Billboard 200. The list charts the top projects in the U.S. each week based on various metrics of consumption, measured in equivalent album units. Units considered range from album sales to streaming.
Only Built for Infinity Links was expected to land in one of the top five spots of this week’s Billboard 200, with an anticipated 28,000 to 32,000 equivalent album units. While it didn’t quite make it to the top five, a top 10 slot is still quite the accomplishment for the rap duo.
Fans were excited to see how Quavo and Takeoff’s first record without fellow Migos member Offset would turn out. Released on October 7 via Quality Control, the 18-track album featured appearances from some of rap industry’s mainstays, including Summer Walker, Young Thug, Gunna, NBA YoungBoy and Mustard.
Alongside Only Built for Infinity Links, G Herbo’s Survivor’s Remorse: Side A sits No. 9, while Charlie Puth’s self-titled Charlie debuted at No. 10.
