Lil Baby’s third studio album It’s Only Me is out tomorrow, October 14. Ahead of the release, the Atlanta rapper wanted to remind listeners that he can drop hard-hitting verses on the fly.
The rapper headed to Hot 97 to take on Funkmaster Flex’s freestyle challenge for the third time. While he kept it short at just about 2-minutes, he delivered bars at a spit-fire pace.
It’s Only Me follows Lil Baby’s 2020 effort, My Turn, which debuted atop the U.S. Billboard 200 and became the rapper’s first No. 1 album and one of the highest-charting projects of the year.
The rapper has been teasing the 23-track It’s Only Me over the past few months. In early September, he shared the LP’s lead single “Detox” alongside an official music video. He’s also given fans a look at the cover art, rendering him at different stages of his life on Mount Rushmore.
