A new trailer is out for the anime Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, a sequel to the eponymous Bleach series based on Tite Kubo’s manga of the same name. It was originally announced in a March 2020 issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump that the manga’s final story arc would receive its own anime.
Fans have been looking forward to the premiere of Thousand-Year Blood War ever since. With the highly-anticipated series slated to debut next month, Viz Media has shared a new short clip teasing the fast-paced action to come.
Directed by Tomohisa Taguchi, Thousand-Year Blood War will run on TV Tokyo in four cours with breaks in between. For those unfamiliar, cours span three months and typically consist of around a dozen episodes. The series will follow the storyline of the original manga up until its ending.
