Jeep is working on something grand. Well, that’s the implication made in this teaser image by the off-road-oriented brand, which includes a picture of the Grand Canyon, a definition of the word “grand” (“magnificent and striking in appearance, size, or style”), and the copy “coming soon.”
Given the Grand Canyon is millions of years old, we don’t think the geographic feature is the forthcoming thing that Jeep is teasing. More likely, the brand is previewing its forthcoming Grand Wagoneer full-size SUV, which may emerge as the largest model Jeep offers in its showrooms.
Then again, the mid-size Grand Cherokee is slated for a redesign soon, too, and it’s possible this ad teases that model instead. Or maybe it’s neither the Grand Wagoneer nor the Grand Cherokee that Jeep’s alluding to in this teaser but an entirely new model—the Grand Canyonero? (It’s got a nice ring to it, huh?)
We expect to know more about this new Jeep product in the coming weeks. Whatever it is, though, we anticipate that it’s a big—or is that grand?—deal for the brand.
