YG Shares ‘I Got Issues’ LP Cover Art and Release Date

Following the release of 2020’s My Life 4Hunnid and 2021’s Kommunity Service, YG gearing up to return with a new full-length project. I Got Issues is slated to drop at the very end of this month through Def Jam.

The rapper announced the news of the forthcoming album on Instagram on Thursday. The simple LP cover showcases the rapper wearing a black turtleneck and a thick layer of chains. Contrasting with a stark black background, YG holds a solo cup and a red glow encircles his head.

The cover art appears to take inspiration from an iconic 1996 VIBE magazine cover, spotlighting Death Row Records artists 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Suge Knight, HipHopDx noted.

I GOT ISSUES My 3rd studio album,” YG wrote in the caption. “Pre-order 9/9, Official release date 9/30. go brazy in the comments if you relate!”

Leading up to the release, the rapper has put out several tracks, including the “Sign Langauge” and “Toxic.” He also linked with J. Cole and Moneybagg Yo for the track “Scared Money” and with 21 Savage and BIA on “Run.”

YG’s I Got Issues is out for streaming on September 30.
