Eminem Taps Into Vault for 2009 “Crack A Bottle” Music Video

Eminem Taps Into Vault for 2009 “Crack A Bottle” Music Video

Over a decade after releasing the song “Crack A Bottle” featuring Dr. Dre and 50 Cent, Eminem has dropped a music video for the track. The single was originally released on the rapper’s 2009 album, Relapse, as its lead single.

“Unlocked from the Shady vault – unreleased #CrackaBottle music video!” Eminem wrote in the caption of the teaser on Twitter.

A snippet of the video shows one man in a suit tied up with his mouth gagged while another writes on a cement wall. As the man struggles to escape, the other is encouraged by a duplicate version of himself.

The rapper didn’t share the specific reason as to why he’s kept the video in the vault for so long but said that the “Crack A Bottle” music video will drop this Friday, August 5, meaning it’ll arrive on the same day as the release of Curtain Call 2. The forthcoming record is a sequel to his 2005 compilation album of the same name and it’s more than likely  that “Crack A Bottle” is included on the nostalgic LP’s tracklist.

The project’s predecessor, Curtain Call: The Hits, reached the top spot on the Billboard 200 and would go on to become the longest-running rap LP in the chart’s history.

Eminem’s “Crack A Bottle” music video is out for streaming this Friday, August 5.

In other music news, Travis Scott has announced a Las Vegas residency.
