Former President Barack Obama has shared another one of his summer playlists. Kendrick Lamar’s “Die Hard,” Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul,” and Rosalía’s “Saoko” all made the cut this year, along with Jack White’s take on the R&B song “I’m Shakin’.” See the rest below.
Obama’s summer and year-end picks in recent years have included Mitski, Mdou Moctar, Phoebe Bridgers, Bad Bunny, Wye Oak, Arooj Aftab, and more. After launching a podcast with Bruce Springsteen early last year, Obama co-created a book with the singer-songwriter from their discussions.
Barack and Michelle Obama recently ended their media company Higher Ground’s exclusive deal with Spotify. The Obamas now have an agreement with Amazon.
