NBA YoungBoy has returned with a fresh single and music video, “Change.” Directed by Isaac Garcia, the official visual features a simple montage of the rapper performing around a mostly-bare white-walled room.
YoungBoy’s rapid pace of putting out new music has given way to a few song titles that sound a bit similar. While this new single is simply called “Change,” he already has the tracks “Changed” and or “Change (4 Freedom).”
“I done sat up in the prison all night, wishin’ that I’m holdin’ you,” he raps. “Tryna make my money, bring me close to you, I’m feelin’ sorry.”
The new track arrives as YoungBoy gears up for the release of his sprawling 30-track album, The Last Slimeto. Slated to drop next month on August 5 via Atlantic Records and Never Broke Again, the project will land as YoungBoy’s fourth studio LP and his last with Atlantic.
The rapper’s frequent collaborator Jason “Cheese” Goldberg will produce and Migos rapper Quavo will reportedly be making a guest appearance on one of the songs.
