Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Transformed By German Widebody Workshop

Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Transformed By German Widebody Workshop

A German custom workshop specializing in widebody US cars has transformed a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat with widebody kit, .

Sebastian Bader, founder of S. Bader Karosserie und Lack in Lebus, transformed his own 2016 Hellcat with a widebody kit from Lion’s Kit, which added a further 9cm (3.5inches) to the width of the car’s rear wheel arches, on top of Dodge’s own modifications.

The kit adds a front splitter, sill extensions, side extensions to the rear apron and a larger ducktail-style spoiler lip, giving the Dodge “an even meaner, more athletic look.”

On top of the kit, Bader added an engine hood from the more powerful “Redeye” Hellcat variant,  with two additional outlets.

To fill the added volume of the extended wheel arches, Bader added Schmidt FS Line three-part wheels fitted with 25mm spacers, dressed with 295/35 ZR21 and 355/25 ZR21 rubber. The whole car was then lowered using KW Variant 4 coilover suspension.

The Hellcat’s 717hp/881Nm supercharged 6.2 liter HEMI V8 received a Momentum GT cold air intake system as well as a Blox 105 mm throttle valve and GME Performance valve exhaust system with 200-cell catalytic converters for an “even angrier roar.”
