Chevrolet Introduces the Fully-Electric Blazer EV

After teasing its plans to take the iconic Blazer fully electric back at the beginning of the year, Chevrolet has now unveiled what the production model actually looks like. Simply dubbed the “Blazer EV,” the new electric car comes in four different trims, with mileage ranging from 247 miles to 320 miles. At its peak trim level, the vehicle comes equipped with an all-wheel-drive configuration that’ll bring you 290 miles in range with its 22-inch wheels, 557 horsepower and 648 pound-feet of torque, coming together to provide a 0-60 mph time of just under four seconds.

Battery-wise, the Blazer EV supports 11.5kW Level 2 onboard AC charging as well as 190kW fast charging if you’re in a hurry. The latter option will give you 78 miles in just 10 minutes through a DC fast charger. Other features for the new EV include a powered charge port door, a 17.7-inch touchscreen paired with an 11-inch instrument cluster display, regenerative braking, the option to add hands-free driving, and a host of safety and driver assistance features from Chevrolet’s Safety Assist suite.

Available in mid-2023, the Chevrolet Blazer EV will start at $44,995 USD.

Elsewhere in the automotive world, Polestar has announced the price range for its Polestar 3.
