There are various factors to consider when choosing an outfit for an important event—the venue, the dress code, even how long the ceremony is going to last—but there’s also the weather. Living in the UK, that usually means considering a jacket for random cold fronts and an umbrella for downpours. But if you’re attending a wedding here in the next few weeks, it’s the heat that you’re going to have to beat.
Luckily, there are plenty of options out there that can keep you looking and feeling cool on the hottest days of the year. Of course, there are the chic tailored and jumpsuit alternatives, but we’d advise saving these for spring and autumn/winter weddings for now. Breezy dresses will be much more comfortable in a heatwave, and after all, there are hundreds of beautiful ones out there to choose from.
