There’s no doubt Vick Hope is brightening up our summer. Fresh from Radio 1’s Big Weekend, the 32-year-old has a brand new TV show, “Vick Hope’s Breakfast Show”, on ITV every Sunday morning for the next eight weeks and is rumoured to be newly engaged to DJ Calvin Harris.
While her career is going from strength to strength — and her relationship appears to be in a sweet spot, too — she is quickly becoming our poster girl for standout summer style. We’d singled out the printed Dolce & Gabbana co-ord that she wore to the Chelsea Flower show, and the sequined bralette she wore to host Big Weekend has already made its way onto our festival-fashion Pinterest board.
One of the things we love most about Hope is that she’s nailed high-low dressing. Mixing designer labels with high street brands like Superga and Missoma, her looks have an accessibility to them. While her day job might be hosting the Drive Time slot on Radio 1 with Jordan North, her wardrobe, chosen in collaboration with her stylist Itunu Oke, deserves to be seen.
