Sony introduced a new editing mode on the PS5‘s Share Factory Studio, allowing users to quickly edit and create short-form gameplay videos with pre-set formats like TikTok.
Sony wrote in a blog post explaining the new feature, calling it “Bits,” in which the new editing feature allows gamers to curate a bit style for their gameplay clip. Players can expect new Bits style to roll out every week, and themes will be added on holidays, featured and trending content, and special events.
“Our goal with Bits is to make it super easy and fun for PlayStation gamers to create and share short-form gameplay videos for sharing cool achievements, jokes, stunts, and any other type of eye-catching content,” Sony Interactive Entertainment Senior Producer Stuart Platt says in a statement.
Share Factory Studio is Playstation’s free editing app that allows players to edit footage captured in-game. The app is packed with loads of features, and the new “Bits” feature surely will help step up the game. Share Factory Studio can be found in the Playstation Store for free.
