In May, Pavement’s Bob Nastanovich accepted a tennis challenge presented by Tim Heidecker’s Office Hours podcast. Now, footage of the match has been released. Nastanovich and Stephen Malkmus played doubles against Heidecker and his Office Hours co-host Doug “DJ Douggpound” Lussenhop. John Lurie narrates their showdown. Check it out below.
After reissuing Terror Twilight in April, Pavement will begin the North American leg of their rescheduled reunion tour in early September, followed by a European run. Their 30th anniversary reissue of Slanted & Enchanted arrives in August.
Heidecker’s next record, High School, is out June 24. He’ll tour North America with a two-act music and comedy show beginning in July.
