‘Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’ Will Introduce Four Player Co-Op

Continuing the popular Pokémon RPG series, The Pokémon Company recently released a new trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. From longtime partner developer Game Freak, the upcoming dual titles will serve as the first true open-world experience. The gameplay of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will follow the 3D gameplay and art style introduced with Pokémon Legends: Arceus released earlier this year.

Aside from offering new Pokémon and brand new thrilling story, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will also introduce four-player co-op. The multiplayer option will allow players and their friends to explore the region together for the first time ever.

The upcoming titles will also feature two professors who will introduce the starter Pokémon: Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly. Accompanying the starters are Smoliv, Pawmi and Lechonk from the Generation IX of creatures in the series. While the legendaries set to grace the covers and headline the stories of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are Koraidon and Miraidon.

Releasing November 18, catch the trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet above and pre-order the games from the Nintendo eShop now.

For more gaming news, Diablo Immortal will not be released in countries with loot box laws.
