Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks may have ended their 2022 NBA season journey, but the Greek Freak isn’t going out without setting a new record.
As confirmed by the NBA, Antetokounmpo is the first player in history to earn 237 points, 103 rebounds and 50 assists in a series. For Game 7 of the Milwaukee Bucks versus Boston Celtics playoffs matchup, he scored 25 points, 20 rebounds and nine assists.
Unfortunately, the Celtics bested the Bucks 109-81 — effectively ending the reign of the 2021 NBA Champions. Boston is now set to face Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat for the Eastern Conference Finals.
