Toyota Gives the 2023 Venza a Blacked-Out Nightshade Trim

Toyota is continuing to expand on its Nightshade Edition collection by giving the 2023 Venza its blacked-out trim. As its name suggests, the package gives the hybrid SUV an even sleeker look by changing up some of its accenting.

A new black acrylic grille trim now sits up front paired with smoked chrome extended bumpers at the front and rear, while the side mirror caps, door handles, shark fin antenna and rocker panels have all been finished in gloss black as well. The wheels have been upgraded to 19-inch gloss black models found on both the XLE and Limited trims, and you’ll have three premium exterior tones to choose from: “Celestial Black,” “Ruby Flare Red” and “Wind Chill Pearl.”

Performance-wise, the Nightshade Edition Venza will retain the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and three electric motors powered by a lithium-ion battery to push out a combined 219 horsepower. The hybrid powertrain is complemented by the automaker’s new Safety Sense 2.5 suite as well as other useful features including rear cross-traffic alerts, rear automatic braking, blind-spot warnings and LED fog lamps.

No pricing information has been announced just yet for the 2023 Venza Nightshade Edition, so those interested should be on the lookout for more updates from Toyota.
