Pusha T Reveals He Does Not Think Kanye West and Drake “Make Good Music Together”

In a recent Drink Champs interview, Pusha T sat down with DJ EFN and N.O.R.E. to talk about his new album, It’s Almost Dry to working with the likes of NIGO, JAY-Z and Pharrell.

King Push shares how he initially met the KENZO creative director, stating that they met because he was a fan of the music. Their relationship later grew when NIGO became inspired by Pharrell’s collection of Jacob & Co.‘s pieces. Push also talked about his track “Hear Me Clearly” for I Know NIGO and how his biggest regret for the track was not having NAS as a collaborator.

Later on in the interview, Push discussed Drake and Kanye West and gave his opinion on whether or not he thinks the pair is a good fit in terms of collaborations. Despite working together many times, King Push does not think that they have a single good record together. When asked about them squashing their beef, Pusha T said, “I felt like it was good for them. They play an industry game. I feel like that’s gon’ work for them and what they do.” He also added,

“I don’t even think they make good music together. That’s the wildest part. There ain’t even a hot record. Name it.”

Drake and Pusha T both have had their own issues in the past, which they seemed to have forgiven each other for over the years. King Push left out any disses regarding the Toronto rapper and instead changed the narrative to focus on the success of his career, “I know exactly what my lane is. I know exactly what I’m doing, I know exactly who I want to be with, who I want to make records with. There’s absolutely no value in that for me.”
