ABT and Audi have a long-standing relationship of taking the German marque’s RS-line cars and pushing them to the next level, but never has its work resulted in a world-first, such as this RSQ8 that’s dubbed the “world’s only racing utility vehicle.”
Limited to 96 editions, this RSQ8 is nothing like the standard model. It features a “Carbon Bold” design language that sits alongside glossy black forged wheels with self-leveling hub covers, functioning front skirt inserts with enlarged air intake grilles, a carbon insert underneath the hood shut line, carbon wheel arch extensions, more carbon on the spoiler and deck, and a full carbon diffuser housing ABT quad exhausts.
Those exhausts are connected to a four-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 800 HP and 1,000 Nm of torque, which is enough to send the behemoth SUV to 62 MPH in a supercar-killing 3.2 seconds, before hitting its top speed of 195 MPH.
Inside, you’ll find an interior trimmed in Alcantara and leather, decked out with “Signature Edition” embroidery and special plaques denoting the car’s racing credentials. Take a look at ABT’s new model above, and find out more about the car online.
