Harry Styles and Florence Pugh Star in First ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ Trailer

Harry Styles and Florence Pugh Star in First ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ Trailer

Warner Bros. on Monday dropped off the first official trailer for Don’t Worry Darling, Olivia Wilde‘s hotly-anticipated sophomore effort starring Florence Pugh and Harry Styles.

Alongside Pugh and Styles, the top-shelf cast includes Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, Sydney Chandler and Nick Kroll. In addition to directing, Wilde will also take on a supporting role in the film.

The official synopsis reads, “Alice (Pugh) and Jack (Styles) are lucky to be living in Victory, the experimental company town housing the men who work for the top-secret Victory Project and their families. Life is perfect, with every resident’s needs met by the company. All they ask in return is unquestioning commitment to the Victory cause. But when cracks in their idyllic life begin to appear, exposing flashes of something much more sinister lurking beneath the attractive façade, Alice can’t help questioning what they’re doing in Victory, and why. Just how much is Alice willing to lose to expose what’s really going on in paradise?”

Don’t Worry Darling will mark Styles’ first lead acting role, though he did appear in a small role in 2017’s Dunkirk. The film will be Wilde’s second as director, following her directorial debut, Booksmart, in 2019.

Don’t Worry Darling will premiere in theaters on September 23. Watch the first official trailer above.

Elsewhere in entertainment, Netflix has canceled Space Force after two seasons.
