Pusha T Speaks on Possibility of New Clipse Album: “I’m Very Confident”

Pusha T is “very confident” and “pushing” for the return of Clipse, his hip-hop duo with brother No Malice.

In a recent SiriusXM interview, the rapper shared that he believes his brother is more keen on releasing new music thanks to their work on the I Know NIGO collab “Punch Bowl.” That track snowballed into the creation of the It’s Almost Dry closer “I Pray For You.” King Push shared, “I’m pushing for a Clipse album. I want it to happen. You know, it’s up to him, but I am very confident. I didn’t know we always could do one. I’m very confident we can do a Clipse album.”

He also explained that many were excited to hear No Malice, who changed his changed name from Malice in 2012, on those cuts. “People have been very vocal from the “Punch Bowl” record to this record,” Pusha said. “Even this record — it even leaked a little early so people heard him and was like, ‘Yo, like what is this?’”

The last Clipse record dates back to 2009’s Til the Casket Drops, which featured Kanye West, Keri Hilson, Pharrell, Cam’ron, Ab-Liva and Yo Gotti.

In related news, King Push dubbed JAY-Z as the “best rapper, period.”
