Diddy has premiered an unreleased collaborative track featuring The Weeknd in the newest Beats By Dre ad.
The ad follows college footballer Kayvon Thibodeaux, a defensive end for the University of Oregon in a day in the life of training. The 60-second ad is narrated by his mother Shawnta Loice over an untitled and unreleased track by Diddy. The song comes after the rapper announced last July that he was returning to music with a new album titled Off the Grid Vol. 1.
Off the Grid Vol. 1 was initially expected to drop in September 2021 but has yet to be released. The album would have marked Diddy’s fifth studio album, but it is currently unknown if it will arrive this year or in the near future. The Weeknd on the other hand has been busy this past year with a series of collaborations including his most recent Kaytranada remixes of “Out of Time from Dawn FM. The Weeknd is kicking off his summer tour in his hometown of Toronto in July.
It remains to be seen if Diddy will be releasing his next album soon.
In case you missed it, Rolling Loud is coming to Toronto for the first time with headliners Dave, Future and Wizkid expected to perform.
