For its latest collaboration, HYPERFLY has come together with artist Bryce Wong for a limited-edition jiu-jitsu collection. Dubbed the “Tibetan Tiger” collection, the special range sees the multi-disciplinary creative, best known for his sneaker designs and unique art style, explore the principles of his martial arts background. Investigating the Tibetan tiger, a motif commonly used for prayer and meditation, Wong applied the disciplined approach of his training to his artistic sensibility. The result is an original skewed artwork that captures the dynamic visual outlook of the tiger while celebrating its place as a guide on the mats to protect both body and mind.
The Bryce Wong x HYPERFLY “Tibetan Tiger” collection is led by a jiu-jitsu gi, accompanied by a selection of similarly decorated apparel. Wong’s Tibetan tiger artworks are emblazoned in intricate embroidery and printing, along with HYPERFLY branding and additional motifs. Expressing a sleek black tone, the gi top is constructed of 550 gsm woven cotton with a rugged diamond weave, paired with 10 oz. cotton twill pants. Other items include the 300 gsm Frenchy terry Meditation Hoodie and matching Sweatpants with chenille patches and plastisol prints and a selection of T-shirts.
The Bryce Wong x HYPERFLY “Tibetan Tiger” collection will be available on HYPERFLY’s website April 21, 10 a.m. PST (1 p.m. EDT).
