Megan Thee Stallion is set to drop her newest single “Plan B” — which she debuted during her recent Coachella set — on Friday, April 22.
The Good News rapper took to social media to announce the news and clarify that the song’s title is “Plan B” and not “Letter to My Ex,” despite popular belief. The song, which samples Jodeci and Wu-Tang‘s “Freak’n You Remix,” took the internet by storm when she previewed it at Coachella, with many stating that they are looking forward to the single’s release and praising her rapping style on the track.
In late March, it was reported that TIME Studios and Roc Nation are working on a documentary about the Houston Hottie, which will feature “rare archival footage and fresh verité video” that spotlights her Texas upbringing, rise to fame and important milestones in her career that led her to the success she has now. “Millions of people are familiar with [Megan] as an entertainer, but this series will give her a chance to share her truth as never before. Her story is a powerful one, and the accomplishments that she continues to achieve are remarkable,” Loren Hammonds, TIME Studios’ co-head of documentary, said in a statement.
