If there’s one summer shoe category that the Who What Wear team love above all other, it has to be the chunky sandal. We don’t care what format it comes in, be it velcro, buckle or slider, we’ll be happy as long as it comes with some junk in the trunk (or, you know, in the sole). The high street has provided a delectable selection this summer, so really we’ve been spoilt for choice.
Charles & Keith have to be up there in the chunky sandal stakes, and we’ve lost count of the number of styles that we’ve added to our mental shopping list. So, seeing as both myself and Who What Wear’s assistant editor, Nell, are particularly besotted with this shoe trend, we decided to road-test Charles & Keith‘s coolest sandals to see if they really are as versatile as they look.
