Moff Gideon actor Giancarlo Esposito has now revealed a potential release window for season three of Disney+‘s The Mandalorian.
Making an appearance on a recent episode of The Rich Eisen Show, the Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul veteran revealed that the third season of the massively popular Star Wars series will premiere sooner than fans expected. “You’ll get it soon. You’ll get it soon,” Esposito reassured. “I got a little few things to do in regards to that, to put some finishing touches on what I do, but I believe it will be sometime this summer. No date set yet, but coming soon.”
Esposito also revealed that The Mandalorian co-creator Jon Favreau wrote Moff Gideon specifically for him and that the one condition he had for joining the series was for his character to have a cape. “I have nothing but great things to say about this studio, about this franchise, in regard to how they have enlightened our children to mythology, and to what’s right, and how to go about doing what’s right.”
For now, Disney+ has yet to announce a precise release date for season three of The Mandalorian, so fans of the series should stay tuned for more updates to come.
Elsewhere in entertainment, rumors of Warner Bros. dropping Ezra Miller from the DCEU have now surfaced.
