The Rolls-Royce Cullinan was unveiled in 2018, and it has enabled the luxurious British marque to not only set new sales records in-house, but also take a slice of the ever-growing luxe SUV market. Now, thanks to the Bavarian tuners Delta4x4, it seems that the Cullinan could also be set to take on the Dakar Rally — or perhaps some particularly tough countryside terrain.
Delta4x4’s take on the luxury SUV is unlike anything any customizer has done before. While 1016 Industries opted for a 3D-printed wide body kit, and the likes of Mansory took things one step further with its UAE special, Delta4x4 goes full off-road rally mode, subverting the true origins of what the Cullinan was built for — that being unrivaled levels of luxury.
While this remains inside, the exterior has been given a full makeover. First, Delta4x4 lifts the car by 80mm at the minimum, before adding 20-inch Delta Force Beadlock rims and thick 33-inch tires from Mickey Thompson, allowing for a total of 150mm of lift. Elsewhere, a front bar has been added, as has a snorkel and a new exhaust system. Adding to the Mad Max aesthetic is a solid roof rack, Japanese PIAA headlights, and heavy-duty underbody protection.
Delta4x4’s full package costs €150,000 EUR (approx. $165,000 USD), and that does not include the $336,000 USD base price of a stock Cullinan. Take a closer look at the behemoth above and find out more online.
Elsewhere in the automotive world, the Tesla Cybertruck has an official 2023 release date.
