BMW Alpina Debuts the 495HP B4 Gran Coupe

BMW Alpina has now introduced its brand new B4 Gran Coupe.

Based on the 4 Series Gran Coupe, the new Alpina model carries a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine that can push out an impressive 495 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque more than both the M3 and the M4 in their Competition trims. All that power is delivered through an eight-speed automatic transmission to bring a 0-60 mph time of just 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 187 mph.

The power enhancement is thanks to the German automaker’s very own turbochargers, a newly designed intake duct, an expanded intercooler, and a stainless steel quad exhaust system. Accompanying the robust powertrain are new anti-roll bars up front, adaptive dampers and springs tuned specifically for the B4 Gran Coupe, and an adjusted front camber for enhanced handling.

Aesthetically, the car also adopts many styling upgrades from Alpina, including unique front and rear spoilers as well as a rear diffuser. You’ll also find the car fitted with 20-inch, 20-spoke forged wheels from the company, while its interior receives other luxurious changes such as a hand-crafted steering wheel, Lavalina leather upholstery, anodized matte black shift paddles, and Alpina badges.

Unfortunately, there’s no pricing information just yet for BMW Alpina’s new offering, so those interested should stay tuned for more updates to come.

In other automotive news, Toyota GAZOO Racing has unveiled its 2023 GR Corolla.
