BAPE founder NIGO has enlisted Lil Uzi Vert for a new collaborative track, titled “Heavy,” off of his upcoming project I Know NIGO.
The track is the fourth to arrive off of NIGO’s forthcoming full-length effort, following “Arya” featuring A$AP Rocky, “Want It Bad” featuring Kid Cudi and “Hear Me Clearly” featuring Pusha T. NIGO previously teased his Lil Uzi Vert collaboration on Instagram with camcorder footage of Uzi playing a beat produced by AXL and speaking to the camera alongside A$AP Rocky.
“Pull up in twin Lambos I’m with Bubba like they Chevys,” Uzi raps on the track. “I don’t think that b*tch was ready / Spent five hunnid thousand at starlets, my heart got heavy / Then I thought about it, that money was just so petty.”
I KNOW NIGO will arrive as the KENZO creative director’s first album in almost 20 years, following 2005’s NIGO Presents: Return of the Ape Sounds, with a slew of even more guest appearances from Pharrell, Famlay, Tyler, the Creator and the Teriyaki Boyz.
I Know NIGO is slated for release on March 25 via Victor Victor Worldwide and Republic. Ahead of the album’s release, listen to NIGO’s latest track with Lil Uzi Vert, “Heavy,” above.
Elsewhere in music, Lil Nas X has teased that his new album is almost finished and released a new preview clip.
