Facebook Adds Community Help Resources for Ukrainian Users

Facebook has introduced new resources to its Community Help section for users located in Ukraine and neighboring countries. Now, the top of its feeds on Facebook and Instagram will showcase a link to Community Help to make it easier for users to access medical help and assistance with food or finding safe housing. The link will be shown at the top of the results for relevant searches on Facebook as well.

Users can follow the link to access the web pages of local UN agencies and Red Cross societies across Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and Moldova.

Facebook has also updated its Emotional Health Center with mental health resources and tips from international organizations including the World Health Organization (WHO) and International Medical Corps (IMC). These resources are available in Ukrainian, Russian and English.

Additionally, the company has launched a helpline on WhatsApp for Ukraine’s State Emergency Services (SES), providing callers with updates and trustworthy information.
