‘Star Wars’ Celebration Is Coming Back This Year

‘Star Wars’ Celebration Is Coming Back This Year

Fans of a galaxy far, far away will be delighted to learn that Star Wars Celebration is officially coming back as an in-person event for 2022.

Taking place from May 26-29 in Anaheim, California, the annual event is coming back for the first time in three years, after having been canceled since 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Though you’ll now be able to attend in person, there’ll also be a whole range of safety measures in place to make sure everyone is protected from the virus. Any attendees above the age of five will need to show proof of full vaccination, and children younger than that will need a lab-reported negative test.

While there’s no news yet on what the event will showcase, there are plenty of Star Wars projects in development right now, so fans will have much to be excited for. The Mandalorian is currently working on its third season while Ahsoka, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Andor all have yet to make their debuts. Of course, there’s also the possibility that The Book of Boba Fett may receive a second season, and details revolving around Patty Jenkins’ Rogue Squadron are still largely being kept under wraps, so Star Wars Celebration might have a lot in store for fans this year.

For those interested, tickets for the Star Wars Celebration will go on sale on March 15 at 9:00 a.m. PST, and you can grab them over on the event’s official website.

Elsewhere in entertainment, Amazon is reportedly in talks to create a God of War TV series.
