Warner Bros. on Monday dropped off the second official trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.
The film, which is written by J.K. Rowling, marks the third entry in the Harry Potter spin-off series, directed by David Yates. The latest preview teases a return to Hogwarts while showcasing several familiar locations, including the Room of Requirement, Hogsmeade and The Great Hall. Meanwhile, the plot finds a focal point on the takedown of Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen), a highly-powerful Dark Wizard who terrorizes the wizarding world in an attempt to seize power.
Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) is tasked with halting Grindelwald’s evil mission; however, he must enlist Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead the fight due to a blood pact he made with Grindelwald years prior.
Elsewhere, the film stars Dan Fogler, Ezra Miller, Alison Sudol, Callum Turner, Jessica Williams and Katherine Waterston.
The Secrets of Dumbledore follows Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) and The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018), both of which were also helmed by Yates.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is slated for premiere on April 15. Watch the trailer above.
In case you missed it, Steven Spielberg is bringing back Steve McQueen’s character Frank Bullitt.
