Sigur Rós have announced two big pieces of news—they’re heading out on a tour of North America this spring and summer, and a new album is in the works. Find the dates for the tour below.
Jónsi, Georg Holm, and recently rejoined member Kjartan Sveinsson are currently in the process of writing and recording the follow-up to 2013’s Kveikur. The last album to feature Sveinsson was 2012’s Valtari. In 2020, the band released Odin’s Raven Magic—an operatic work they’d performed 18 years earlier.
