MANHART Turns the BMW M2 Competition Into a Track Car

MANHART Turns the BMW M2 Competition Into a Track Car

MANHART and BMW have a long-standing relationship, with the former delivering some of the best aftermarket BMW tunes money can buy. Now, following on from its road-going M2 Competition rework, comes a track-focused iteration dubbed the MH2 630.

Breaking the name down, you’ll find a BMW M2 Competition that sees its S55 Biturbo in-line six-cylinder engine get a boost in power from 410 HP and 550 Nm of torque to 630 HP and 750 Nm. Optimized for track-use, the M2 Competition now gets a stainless steel exhaust system with valve control, which is complete with four 90mm carbon tailpipes at the rear, the brake system from the BMW M4 GT4 at the front (standard M2 Comp. brakes are at the rear), and a reworked three-way Clubsport coilover suspension from KW.

19″ rims are wrapped in Michelin tires and are joined by the carbon fiber M Performance front spoiler, side skirt attachments and diffuser, as well as a Schmiedmann aluminum front bonnet and a rear wing from the M235i Racing. Making this car even more track-focused is the rear seat delete, and in its place is a roll cage that works with harnesses and the Recaro Sportster CS seats to create a race-centric interior.

Take a look at the MANHART MH2 630 above, and find out more about the M2 Competition track car on MANHART’s website.

In other news, a Honda S2000 is currently up for sale, and it’s incredibly clean.
