The NBA on Wednesday announced that DJ Khaled will performing during the Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday, February 19, alongside a star-studded lineup including Mary J. Blige, Ludacris, Lil Wayne, Gunna, Migos and Lil Baby.
The Slam Dunk Contest is set to take place one day prior to the 71st NBA All-Star Game, which is scheduled to air live at 8 p.m. ET on TNT. At halftime, the league will celebrate its 75th anniversary with words from Usher, Spike Lee, Tiffany Haddish and Anthony Anderson, along with a performance of “Shining Star” from Earth, Wind & Fire.
Additionally, Machine Gun Kelly and DJ D-Nice will appear to introduce each 2022 NBA All-Star, while Macy Gray will sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” and Ryland James will perform “O Canada.”
Elsewhere during All-Star Weekend, the inaugural NBA HBCU Classic presented by AT&T will take place at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday. There, Keke Palmer and the Howard University Showtime Marching Band will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
Finally, on Friday at 7 p.m. ET, the 2022 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game will take place, featuring Jimmie Allen, Machine Gun Kelly, Quavo, Anuel AA, Kane Brown, Jack Harlow, Anjali World, Tiffany Haddish, Myles Garrett, Nyjah Huston and more.
