Black Dresses, the Toronto-based noise-pop duo of Devi McCallion and Ada Rook, have released a new album. After first releasing excerpts from the album on their Patreon, Forget Your Own Face is out now. Listen to the duo’s latest below.
The duo announced a breakup in 2020, citing “extended harassment” from fans. McCallion and Rook subsequently released Forever in Your Heart in 2021. “We’re no longer a band unfortunately,” the duo wrote upon that album’s release. “Regardless, we’ve decided to keep putting out music. Blessed to make & share these songs.”
