Secretly Group—the label collective that includes Dead Oceans, Jagjaguwar, Secretly Canadian, and more—has launched a new podcast called Secretly Society. The podcast features episodic documentaries about artists from across its history. The debut episode is the first of three installments on the late Jason Molina of Songs: Ohia and Magnolia Electric Co. Listen to the first episode below.
Forthcoming episodes will focus on Jens Lekman and his efforts to “reimagine” his albums Oh You’re So Silent Jens and Night Falls Over Kortedala. Later, the show will feature conversations with Justin Vernon and Aaron Dessner about their Big Red Machine project.
